Protocols

There are protocols that the Office of the Aged Care Commissioner (OACC) adheres to when working with different Government agencies.

In particular, the OACC deals with the Commonwealth Ombudsman, the Complaints Scheme (CS) and the Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency (ACSAAA) on a regular basis. This is to ensure an efficient and effective communication process between the OACC and these agencies which results in a successful outcome.

In light of recent legislative change, these protocols are in the process of being updated.
